Sav   3 Sept  Umdloti  3 pockets of sards just behind the tidal pool. Have seen Snoek smashing them and one big shark that launced itself totally our the water. 3 guys diving one of the shoals and buoys look heavy. Am out of action due to an eye injury :(  
Sav   1 Sept  Umdloti  No viz but small windless conditions and heaps of mackerel around. And I mean heaps. Pockets everywhere you look. Fishing ski boys should be out stocking up.

mark   7 April  Sedgefield  Report from Gletwyn is that the water is full of planton and the swell is up. Does not seem to be worth a dive.  
Darryl Hatting   4 April  Hibberdene  3 to 5 meters inshore viz but 10 to 15 M viz on the nets. Corrie and Carl saw poensies,R Salmon and shoals Rubberlips.  
Zane   4 April 2009  Algoa Bay, Westside  Bay - flat but murky Westside - unusually flat - but dirty band close inshore. Sunday 5 April 2009 ruined - Ironman - maybe Seaview / Beachview is worth a look considering zero wind today

Mark   28 march  PE westside.  water cleanish, SE swell which is not to big but a strongish ground swell. Water is dirty on the surface but goes to 10m below. Defintely worth a dive.  
Luke   26th march  Rock Bay  water green cold on points, clean and warm 80m out, lots snoek on this line  
mark   26 march  Knysna  Was in the area for business and saw that the water is looking really good down this part of the world.  
Mourne   24th March  Sheffield stairs  Very nice. 19kg Cuda came out. plus some shoal snoek.  
Burmeister   23 March  Salties  Some snoek around with the odd cuda out deeper. Viz good.  
Coatsman   22 March  Sheffield  Water still good. 2 Cuda came out. Temp is 25 degrees.

Brento   9 March  Sheffield  5 M viz. Medium swell. Shoals of reefies, some lone snoek, crays scarce.  
mark   9 March   Knysna  Drove past Knysna and looked at the sea between the Knysna heads and Buffelsbay. Water is flat and very clean. Definitely worth a dive. To all the divers down there,go dive, envy))

Gyula   7 March  Ballito  Walls of water coming from the deep. Looks like multiple tsunami's. No wind but surfable with a jet ski.  
Mark   6 March  PE westside  Water is nice and flat but the water is different colours of brown. Not looking to good unless u find some clean water underneath from the thermocline but i think we have had to much east.

sav   27 Feb  Umdloti  Still dirty from the river opening. Classic calm conditions though. Big pockets of bait fish all over. Snoek coming out off fishing ski's. No wind for next few days. Crays going to take a hiding on Sunday!

Mark PE   2 February 09  PE coastline  Water is clean all over. Up to 18m Viz, 20 degrees above. Cooler below. Excellent diving conditions. Many shore divers enjoying the excellent water.

mark PE   29th Jan  PE coastline.  Water is very dirty inshore on the westside. Looks blue further out. Gletwyn reported that the water was not looking good in the bay.  
Gyula   24 Jan  Salt Rock  Diveable. Cuda darts out deep and snoek off Sheffield. Sea flat.  
Mark PE   16 Jan 09  PE westside and Bay  Westside seems to be cleaning up a bit. Still some planton around but the cool thermocline has brought in some cleaner water.The Bay is looking better to.

Mark PE - report from Gyula   18 December  Natal coast  aliwal - 3m Viz, 19 degrees. Salties - 3m Viz. Ballito - 5m viz, 1.5m swell, 14 knot southerly wind.  
Sav   12-18th December  Mbolompo point, Mpame, Transkei  Viz varied from 2-8m. Water from 24 - 16 degrees, literally overnight. Only saw 1 shoal of Yellowtail which was our main target. Plenty Brusher, Cob, Garrick and the usual bottoms.Thousands of mackerel, sards & red eye. Another awesome trip to Bulls Inn.

Sav   4 November  Umdloti  Take the day off. Dived off ski, viz 15m +. No gamefish but still an amazing dive.Could make out the bottom in 20m! Shoals of small kingfish,reef fish, rays, skates, guitar fish, even morays swimming freely. Heard of only 1 cuta being caught off ski's.Hope you stocked up on pink tickets with the ladies as there will be plenty diving in the next few days!

Sav   29 November  Plantations  Dived Plantations off fishing ski early this am. Great water but suprisingly no fish around. managed a Dorado trolling a sard later on. Classic beach day.  
Sav   28 November  Umdloti  Got mates out from Scotland so jumped in to grab a few oysters for tonight's braai. Ended up doing a drift and bagged a 3kg snoek. Water 3-4 with a good colour line further out. A mate had some Dorado swim up to his ski in 10m of water yesterday! Also hear it's really good further north with some good cuta being shot. Dive of fishing ski planned for tomorrow.

Sav   26 November  Umdloti  Water crystal up to 12m mark after that the usual Umdloti lime green snotty stuff. No game fish around but mates got cleaner water and cuta further north. Should have gone for a drive...  
Mark   25 November  PE coastline.  Westside is 2-3m viz at best. Bay is 5-6m but the swell is pushing in so the viz will drop. Moderate SW wind.  
Sav   25 November  Tiffany's, Salt Rock  6-8m on inside but 4m on drop off. That lime green snotty stuff, made worse wth overcast weather. No fish around at all.

Zane   14 Sept 2008  Pe - Noordhoek, Chelsea Point, Schoenies  Shoredive, water cool, vis poor 3 metres max, plenty sediment, dirty band of water still exists, but becoming cleaner, colour improving, needs a day or two  
Mark - PE   14/9/2008  PE westside.  Dived today, not good conditions. Dirty from about 10m. Shallow is cleaner, up to 5m Viz. Cool Water with not much fish. Shot some fish towards the online spearfishing competition for September. Maybe i will win a good prize!  
Dean   11 Sept.  Robben  Water very green.14,5 deg.Only caught snoek.Reports of Tail at Dassen.  
Mark PE   12/9/2008  PE west side.  At last, the swell is down and the water has a blueish colour. Definitely will be able to dive. Only by boat at the moment.

Zane   7 Sept 2008  Algoa Bay, Cape Recife, Wildside  Small swell from Humewood Beach right round to Schoenies. Inshore water looks like river water - no dive this morning, unless possibly by boat. Time viewed 8.30am to 10.00am.  
Mark   4/9/08  PE wset side  Still very big swell, 2.5m S to SE swell. Undivable now and for the next 2 days. Neptune and his tricks again!
